The Conical Melting Mold is designed for precious metal refining, metal recovery and casting applications. Its conical design allows molten metal to collect at the tip of the mould, making it ideal for separating and recovering precious metals from flux during refining processes.
Commonly used in conjunction with refining fluxes such as Chapman's Flux, the mold helps produce a concentrated metal button at the base, allowing valuable metal to be more easily separated for further processing.
Suitable for gold recovery, silver recovery and other precious metal refining applications, the conical mould is also ideal for producing neat, uniform castings for workshop and hobby use.
